The meeting was called to order at 7:40PM there were 36 people in attendance including all of the officers and trustees.

The minutes from the June meeting were read and approved.

We introduced and voted in the new members who were present.

Reports from the officers; Dan Othberg read the financial report, we have $5513.95         in the bank. Bruce Hill stated that the poker run will be on August 8th to Vermillion. Rick Verrell discussed the need to put up the new tarps and do some electrical work, and Tom Habanek talked about the cardboard regatta.

Ray reported on the steak roast and the dock crawl. We still need gifts for the Chinese raffle. The prices are $18.00 for members and $20.00 for non members.

Nora Cieplowski stated that the by-laws are almost finished and we should be able to vote on them in September. There is a long list of changes and the original ones still are not on the web site.

Our membership is still down. Steve attributes that to the economy. The cornhole tournament is postponed till a later date.

Robert Perkins made an official presentation of the “PLANK AWARD” TO Dave Meister.

There was an official vote of the membership to put Steve Longa out of office. A 2/3 vote was needed to force his resignation; the vote was 19-11.  He maintains his seat.

Bruce Hill won the 50-50. It was worth $87.00.
