The meeting was called to order at 7:40PM, there were 21 people in attendance including all of the officers and trusteesThe minutes of the February meeting were read and approved
Reports from the officers:· Commodore: We have 31 people signed up for the Commodores Ball. Please sign up after the meeting. All of our information to the G.C.B.A. and the I.L.Y.A. has been updated. · Treasurer: We made a donation in Wayne Millers name. We have $ 6,384.44 in the bank.· Vice Commodore: Ads in the I.L.Y.A. Regatta book are $88.00 for an eighth of a page. Should we take an ad out? It was voted on and approved. · Rear Commodore: Dale talked to Linda, She is looking into getting a grant for a floating sea wall. It would stop a lot of the surge and garbage that comes into the marina. She does not know if they will be putting in more floating docks until they see how much damage is done over the winter. · Fleet Captain: There is not a lot of snow on the fleet. Dave brought up having a fleet picture taken. It would be done by a professional photographer in a helicopter. We would all gather somewhere with downtown or the stadium in the background. He has prices and information. The idea was tabled to be brought up at a later meeting.· Entertainment: We need a few more people for the Commodores Ball, Please sign up after the meeting. Ray will call those we have not heard from. Terry informed us that there was another outlet put in the pavilion.Dave Meister said that Linda is remodeling the gas dock building and that there will be installing a bait tank. We voted on and passed the Dan Zola Band. Danny will send a check.The 50-50 raffle was won by Dale G. The meeting was adjourned at 8:22 |
